My Artist Statement
The love I have for quality fine fine art and my creative power are gifts from God. It is because of Him that I'k able to share these gifts with the world.
I'chiliad told every creative person needs an artist argument; this is mine.
Art has been my passion since I was young. I dear working on my paintings, and I am often inspired past life and nature. I love many art styles, but realism is my favorite. As a realism artist, my arroyo to a subject is to portray it as it appears in life, but as God created it. However, I do admire other art styles, such as impressionism and abstruse art. For instance, Vincent Van Gogh and Picasso are among my favorite artists whose artistic styles reverberate those styles. Others who are too my favorite include American artists Georgia O'Keeffe for her blossom paintings and Thomas Kinkaid for his realism in art.
I love the challenge of painting a variety of subjects (landscapes, seascapes, even so life, etc.), whatever inspires me at the moment. This accounts for the various categories of paintings found on this website. Still, I call up my favorite would have to be landscape since I practise more than than whatever other genre.
Oil paint is the medium I utilize to create my fine art on canvas. Painting in oils is a traditional form of art that many of the Old Masters used when they made their masterpieces. I dear the work of the Old Masters, and anytime I hope to be every bit much of an achieved artist equally they were.
I dear sharing my paintings with others, so I've created this website to showcase a selection of my most recent oil paintings. As I finish more paintings, I volition add them to my site.
